Speech Therapy Services
Language
In order to determine if your child could benefit from therapy, a comprehensive assessment in the specific areas of expressive language (one’s use of language) and/or receptive language (one’s understanding of language in written or verbal form) is conducted in order to determine if your child’s current language skills fall within developmental range.
Feeding
In order to determine if your child could benefit from therapy, a feeding assessment is conducted to determine if you child’s current eating and/or drinking capabilities are within developmental range (includes oral motor, swallowing, and/or sensory exploration).
Stuttering
In order to determine your child’s individualized needs, an assessment in the specific areas of fluency and/or cluttering.
Articulation
In order to determine your child’s individualized needs, an assessment is conducted in the specific areas of articulation (speech sound production) and/or phonology (patterns of speech sounds).
Early Communication Delays
In order to determine if your child could benefit from therapy, a comprehensive assessment is conducted to evaluate prelinguistic and communicative milestones in relation to your child’s chronological age.
Augmentative
&
Alternative Communication (AAC)
In order to determine if your child could benefit from assistive technology or multimodal communication therapy, an assessment is conducted to determine if your child’s communication capabilities could benefit from AAC.
Social Communication
In order to determine your child’s ability to use communication in social interactions, an assessment in the specific areas of pragmatics is conducted.
Childhood Apraxia

In order to determine your child’s ability to coordinate movements needed to clearly and effectively communicate with others, an assessment is conducted to determine oral motor capabilities, intonation, and sound inventory.
